Re: Do any of you actually like certain genres of fic better what it's bad than when it's good?

This makes perfect sense and I 100% agree. Most of my favorite longfics are not very technically proficient and this is exactly why. Especially when it comes to shippy fics. So many long shippy fics by really "good" authors are predictable yawn-fests, even if I can tell that the writing is technically very good.
