I wish people woulkd stop using the term "trigger warning" all together and just say "warning." Most random crap on the internet is not required reading, so whether people want to avoid something because it triggers them or because they just find it unpleasant really doesn't matter. As long as you're giving the warning, bringing "trigger" into it serves no purpose, unless you think it's your job to tell people what they ought to find triggering.

Yeah, I like just "warning" or "CW" (content warning) over "trigger warning".
