I've never really understood why people's advice to someone who wants to read something is 'write it'. Those two things are not the same...

Yeah, me either. I mean there's the idea that if stuff for a pairing/character/whatever exists maybe other people will go "Hey! This is cool!" and write/draw/create more but it's not like everyone can write or draw or create stuff in that way so... idk.

My usual advice is hit up kink memes and that kind of thing. Look for people taking prompts... ask for what you want to see in places that are built for that kind of thing. Even that might not work but it's a place to start. *shrugs*
