(Anonymous) 2014-08-23 12:24 am (UTC)(link)I'd say it really depends. I will say it can give you an unrealistic worldview, because you live in a bit of a bubble. On the other hand, some only children have stepsiblings or cousins they're close with, so they still have sibling figures in their lives. Just not "traditional" ones. That's how it was for me.
