I used to think that the world was in black and white before the invention of color movies/tv. Which doesn't explain stuff like the Wizard of Oz and all those beautiful colotful paintings from history and other stuff. I was a stupid kid.

DA - This is actually the second time I've heard it. So apparently it wasn't an uncommon belief.

I knew better, but for years it always confused me as to why young people looked so old in older photos until realizing their hair styles made them look like they were born in the fifties - which they were.
