I long for the halcyon days where it was only "I don't like this so the creators suck"

Today it's "I don't like this and I'm totally justified in not liking it because prombl-o-matictm! whitehetmalesciscum who made it obviously hates women, poc, gays, trans, etc."

OH! and since you have now got me rolling on this, does anyone else remember when "Queerbaiting" was just called fanservice?

This so much, though I would amend the top part to missing the days when the refrain was "I don't like this, so this thing sucks." Guess I've always been protective of people who make things - especially for TV.

Noooo, that's been around since at least the 70s. And frankly it's great to see some LGBT and maaaybe even a few non-white people on TV these days.
