It sort of comforts me that humans have always been humans. Even if it frustrates me that it also means an endless cycle of "In the good old days" "Older generations were idiots" and "The next generation is declining!"

I see it a lot in "In The Old Days cosplayers were nice and supportive and held hands and sang kumbaya all con" And I just want to laaaaugh. I mean there's no reason not to dream of less wanky fandoms, but lets not delude ourselves that this is a brand new problem and things need to get back to normal again.
