Whenever I used to dye my own hair with like Loreal or something, there was no dye transfer at all.
when I get my hair professionally dyed, it's usually several days.
I think it's because the purple is so vivid. I'm scheduled to get the purple refreshed at four weeks; it's already faded despite me taking stellar care of it. So essentially for the duration of this 'do, I can't wear the pearls. But I'm cool with shelving them for a semester.
:)
What went wrong with your dye job?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 03:13 am (UTC)(link)Huh, that's a bit odd. Is it because they use stronger dyes? Awe, it is a shame that it has faded. Hopefully it hasn't faded too much. Good luck with your next appointment! Before you know it, December will be here and you and your pearls will be reunited, lol.
I tried to dye my hair blonde and instead it came out reddish brown. I was crushed.

What color was your hair originally? Because if you had any color hair besides blond and decided to dye it blonde, LOL, it probably needed to be bleached first.

Unfortunately, when you are making a drastic color change, especially from dark to light, you have to bleach it first, or it just goes all wonky. :(
