Neither were all that good compared to some of the old showrunners, but neither are as bad as they're made out to be. My favourite stuff was actually Moffat writing under RTD. I've really enjoyed it all on rewatch (except Sparkly Jesus Doctor and the pavement lady) much more since adopting the MST3K Mantra and having a drink or two when I watch it.

It's a 50-year-old show; there's going to be a lot of shit mixed in with the stuff that makes us keep watching. I'm actually cool with that.
