(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 07:28 am (UTC)(link)Thank you, OP: last year I was tempted to buy the sequels by written different authors, but now I'll know to stay away from them.
Also, I'm a Star Trek fan - the kind who likes both the original series and the reboot: to be honest, I'm glad they decided to make the movie AU. I think trying to put them in the same continuity as the OS would have been more jarring.
