Oh, some kind of science fiction and fantasy or other. Probably something like Jack Vance, or maybe some kind of big space opera-y type thing like an Iain M Banks or the James SA Corey thing. Those are the best things for reading in summer.

Also am I the only one who never really liked reading on the beach? IT's too sunny and too sandy to read, even in the shade. I like going to the beach to go in the water or maybe to hang out eating unhealthy foods. But for reading, you want somewhere in the shade, with lots of trees and green things around, and ideally a hammock.
