Mickey, I don't understand why they hate Mickey. Dude was awesome. I kind of think it's probably because they thought he was in the way of Rose/Ten (or Nine). pff *eye-roll*

Because he was a petulant git. Once Rose fell in love with the Doctor, he was always pouting and sullen.

'Cause Rose kept yanking his chain and making him think he still had a chance before running back to the Doctor.

Don't get me wrong, she didn't owe him anything, but she could have least given him a clean break.

Which is is why I can't say I like Rose or Nine all that much. Their treatment of Mickey was offputting. Of course, I place the blame the writers for that but still.

Same here. I actually gave away most of my 10th Doctor DVDs because the writers made it so he and Rose became worse people when they were together, and nowhere was that more on display than when they dealt with Mickey

IDK about Mickey (never watched those eps) but I remember somebody posting on Tumblr about the actor's Twitter, and saying it was basically 100% selfies with his old co-stars. They reblogged a few of the pics, and dude looked immensely happy go-lucky kind of guy.

I don't follow him all that much, but yeah, I also noticed he does post a lot of selfies with his co-stars, and even ones he didn't star with in the show but are still in it after he left.

He also said his favorite Doctor was Matt's, which is kind of cute imo but also irrelevant, lol.

He was also one of the ones who blasted the 'Free Roman Polanski' petition going around a few years back. When I finally got Twitter myself, that was one of the reasons he was one of the first people I followed.
