It might be something with your connection. We used to have the same problem when we had AT&T...phones would stay connected but the connection on the computer would randomly go out. We switched to a different ISP (Time Warner) a few months ago and haven't had a problem since.

Obviously, it doesn't make sense why this would be since the connection is coming through the router and you'd think if it didn't work on the computer it wouldn't work on the phone, either, but that's how it was. I guess the issue must be with the way the connection is on the computer itself vs. other devices connected to it, if that makes any sense. Either way, when we switched services it stopped happening, but I guess it's possible the person hooking up the new service changed some settings on the computer around or something.
