When I've confirmed it's gone from the original secret, I'll delete it from mine. I know that probably seems like a lot of work, but given the anonymous nature of secrets, I can't just take any anon at their word when they say "That was mine, please delete."

But really, wouldn't it be more fun, OPs, if you popped back in with an update? If you've been here from the start, it's been seven years. Do you still feel the same and find it secret-worthy, or has time changed your mind or made the once scandalous seem tame?

Zim and Dib always grossed me out. Zim is not a child, he's pretty old. Unless it's aged up Dib, it's just skeevy.

a) that's a really obtusely worded secret

b) i didn't ship Jayne with anybody. honestly was not a fan of Jayne really. i feel like the only characters i want to ship on Firefly are the women.

I know, I had to read it twice to really grasp it. And now I want to know who OP shipped Jayne with before falling into the Jayne/Kaylee train.

Kaylee was easy to ship! I actually think I ship Kaylee with more people than anyone else in the show. (Inara/Kaylee, Simon/Kaylee, I could ship Jayne/Kaylee too.)

I think I shipped Kaylee with everyone. Kaylee/Inara. Kaylee/River. Kaylee/Jayne. Kaylee/Mal. Kaylee/Simon. She was just so shippable. Jayne was...less so, for me. I shipped either Kaylee/Jayne or Vera/Jayne. Or, you know, his true love, Jayne/money.

Joss' insistence that it's so obvious that Jayne had a crush on Kaylee is one of the many signs that he is a terrible storyteller.

I thought it was pretty obvious, long before ever hearing that. So...maybe you just have terrible perception? (Or maybe neither he nor you are terrible at anything and you just don't see eye to eye in this case. Probably that.)

I thought that Jayne had a crush on Inara through the show. In the movie, on the other hand, I thought he had a crush on Kaylee. I barely remember them interacting on the show. I half think that the crush was planned to be hinted at during the rest of the first season that never happened, and he just forgets that we never saw any of that.

Considering Jayne wanted to trade in his gun for Saffron, it's kind of hard for me to ship Jayne with anyone. Maybe if there'd been more seasons and his character had developed into someone else.

It really squicks me out when people ship him with River. Talk about unhealthy on so many levels.
