This. There just didn't seem to be a logical reason for that chip on her shoulder. Usually when a L&O character is pissed and shows it, you understand why. Falacci just had this tendency to blurt out rude, tactless things and then stare at people as if she didn't understand why they were gawking at her. And nobody ever called her on it. The closest the show gets to doing that is Logan's remark about being the sane, reasonable cop for a change, and he says it jokingly. I don't buy that nobody would ever just stop and say, "Okay, WTF is your problem?"

Right?

I thought Logan's point was hilarious and maybe that was the point...but in the context of the show it had no actual point.

Maybe they were leading up to backstory for her and didn't get to it, or something, but they could have tossed in a line like, "Falacci's no Miss Congeniality, but her solve rate is phenomenal, so deal with it" or something. It's more acceptable to be a muffukkkkahh if you're Sherlock Holmesing it.
