Your first mistake was thinking Moffat is a feminist.

The second mistake would be that female characters you like will always say things you agree with. Vastra is kick-ass, but her opinions on humans are...well, her own, and not necessarily something that should be representative of feminsm or whatever.

I don't know. There are fans who will latch onto that phrase and repeat it like children repeating things. Adult fans as well as children.

I'm not saying they won't.

I' just saying that that doesn't mean that either Moffat as a writer or Vastra as a character are feminist.

Vastra is one of my favorite Doctor Who characters, but I wasn't overtly fond of this line.

The line felt more like Moffat trying to pander to feminists and ending up doing the exact opposite.
