Weeeeeell, there are also bad monster B movies outside Syfy originals - Anaconda & its sequels comes to mind. As does Tremors. And outside the giant monster genre as well - I'm a fan of B grade horror and action, but have a real soft spot for B grade family/romance/holiday movies. Holiday in Handcuffs? Cinematic gold.

So basically, I agree with that people who like Sharknado and only Sharknado have just jumped on the bandwagon and aren't true connoisseurs of B grade. But I don't think people who just like Syfy original B grade are true connoisseurs either.

There's a world of shit movies out there for you to wallow in, people! Embrace it!

The Anaconda sequels are primarily by Syfy. Tremors is also parody. It mocks a lot of horror film tropes.
