Phantom of The Opera will always be one of my favorites, but I also love some older classic ones, too, like Singin' in the Rain, Hello, Dolly or West Side Story (which is incredibly interesting musically and choreography-wise, I think.
The Producers is probably the one that puts the biggest grin on my face.
I'm also very fond of songs that Cole Porter did for the genre, though I haven't even seen ll the film/productions they were in, because man that's a wide range.
Also Disney, which I do count under the genre.

I have seen most of the ones I mentioned live, though (except Singing in the Rain).
Sometimes it's interesting, though, as live versions can be quite different from the movie (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, for example, which is the last one I saw live).
And for older stuff, it's just not on that much - or if it is, on the other end of the world. I'd love to see Anything Goes, but yeah good luck with that.
