I don't think of myself as a defender of Steve Rogers, but I suppose I am. it's just that it's honestly difficult for me to imagine people not liking him.

I HATED the first Captain America. Like, really hated it (I still do, tbh). It was boring and soooo slow. And then I didn't particularly care about Steve in The Avengers. I didn't hate him by any means. Just ambivalent.

Then I saw Captain America: TWS. I expected to hate it because of my feelings for the first one. I did not. And I came out of the theater shipping Steve/Bucky. So I read all the Steve/Bucky fic. I would have figured, I'd become a Bucky girl. But nope, suddenly I wanted to read some more Steve fics (mostly whump) and now I am all about Steve Rogers.

Same. I just don't get it. (I suppose I don't have to, but...it hurts me when people don't like Steve. He's so precious.)

I don't like steve because of the actor. I don't hate him or anything, just dislike.
