Yeah, easily researchable things that are wrong bother me too.

Distance and approximate travel time are relatively easy to look up. What's weird to me is when they get a character's appearance wrong (I'm mostly thinking about height and build, though I've seen people get eye color really wrong - blue for brown). Climate and geography are weird though because the show's may not really match up with it's supposed setting.

OH GOSH. I've seen the eye color mistake, and it wasn't like the difference between, say, Marvel comics and the MCU, or a book and a film, there was only an actor, with very visible eyes.

I've had to hit the backbutton on things for failures in writing a setting-- you don't have to convince me you've been to a place I grew up when you write or anything, just that you've done any kind of basic research-- but sometimes I understand it's forgivable and yeah, a show/movie might not match up to the reality of that place, but the eye color thing boggled my mind.
