Re: Yeah, easily researchable things that are wrong bother me too.

OH GOSH. I've seen the eye color mistake, and it wasn't like the difference between, say, Marvel comics and the MCU, or a book and a film, there was only an actor, with very visible eyes.

I've had to hit the backbutton on things for failures in writing a setting-- you don't have to convince me you've been to a place I grew up when you write or anything, just that you've done any kind of basic research-- but sometimes I understand it's forgivable and yeah, a show/movie might not match up to the reality of that place, but the eye color thing boggled my mind.
