Holmes takes drugs just because the world is a terrible place for for an observant man. He does only in a few books too.

He's not fat.

But he is chunky.

He is simultaneously cute and chunky. This is not impossible.

Seriously, though, he does wear it well. I find it weirder watching earlier seasons where he's skinny at this point.

I'm not a native speaker so to me chunky = fat. Shawn is hunky. ;)

The key is a gradual transition between eps.
