I spent the day watching Formula 1 and getting frustrated by my drivers... Other than that I am good.

Oh I did get some good news recently tho :I talked to a Student Advisor and he looked at my grades and as long as I don't fuck anything up this year I will get into the Masters program!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I'm pretty sure that you'll get in. :D

Thanks Anon! I am sure I will, we need 30 points* and I currently have 33, and that might go up if I get better than a C on my two last subjects that counts towards my application.

*Through something I am pretty sure was voodo my advisor translated my letter grades to numbers and added them together and then divided them to figure out how many points I have.

You're welcome! Just keep trying to do your best and you'll nail it. You're pretty damn smart from what I've seen.

Oh my god, I can't stop watching these gifs. Who is the couple in the first gif? They are beyond adorable.

Might have to get into Formula One. You've posted so many cute racers that it is tempting. And having that many gifs of people hugging is never a bad thing.

I have no idea, I probably stumbled across them on tumblr.

We also got, Britney (as in Britney Spears, one of the drivers are quite pretty and blonde, and someone (ie his teammate) put a picture of Britney Spears in his passport which he didn't notice before the passport control. They are a bunch of men in their early to mid 20s driving amazingly fast cars and earning (for the most part) a lot of money, they are awesomely adorable and dorky!

And to sign up, you sell your soul to the devil, or well not really, just start watching the races, reading the wiki article on F1 and get to know the drivers a bit, and just watch the races, the Tumblr. fandom is surprisingly large and all of us are happy to answer any questions, tho we might be a bit coloured by who we support or not.

Thank you! I hope so, I worry about my Bachelors Paper*, but that is more a time management issue than another one. The program I want in has never had to say no to anyone who qualify so that is good (not because it isn't a good program, it is just a small field)

*Is it called that? The huge paper you write to get you BA degree...

I'm...not actually sure. I think here we'd call it a thesis, but I didn't have to write one for my degree (I had to write a slew of papers, mind, but not an all-encompassing one).

What program are you looking to get into?

Ah that looks more correct, I will spend 2/3ds of my last semester working on it...

I am currently getting a BA in Film and Television Studies, so that is also what I will get a MA in, at the same University College and everything, it is the 5th best film school in the world! (or well the "practical" Film school is, I go to the "theoretical" one, but I am still counting it.)

Wait do you guys use BA/MA or do you write out the full names?

Oh wow, that's neat! So, what do you want to do when you finish? Which aspect of film/television do you want to be in?

Both. In conversation, people will usually say "bachelor's" and "Master's" (although I don't think I've ever heard someone go so far as to say "bachelor of arts/science"); in writing, it's more common to see BA/BS and MA/MS.

I dunno, if I am going into production, I'd like to work in casting (especially the panel show type casting), or work in live events (Eurovision would be so much fun!), or just admin, buying shows for a television channel, and I'd like to teach a bit too, which is one of the reasons to why I am getting an MA, it will allow me to teach at higher education.

Ah pretty similar to Norwegian then, thanks for explaining!
