A COLD FRONT CAME THROUGH! MWAHAAH. It feels so great outside. And my sister came over and we made pumpkin waffles. They were delicious.

It's been ok. I'm on house- and pet sitting duty for friends this weekend.

My boyfriend came over and brought supplies to make rope. ( He's a keen shibari rigger and has become rather a rope nerd.)

THe only downer was that my stablemate was supposed to come borrow "my" horse, but in the end didn't show up nor called to let me know.

I spent the day watching Formula 1 and getting frustrated by my drivers... Other than that I am good.

Oh I did get some good news recently tho :I talked to a Student Advisor and he looked at my grades and as long as I don't fuck anything up this year I will get into the Masters program!

I rescued a bird last night! It was injured somehow and couldn't fly, so I brought it home with my, kept in my apartment overnight, and brought it to a local wildlife sanctuary this morning. (The woman I brought it to suspected head trauma, but said they should be able to release it back into the wild soon.) It was so adorable and I miss it already; I really wish I could keep a pet. :(

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy again with my dad, got the front lawn mowed, and I'm feeling inspired to draw after a couple weeks of being too stressed out by work to really do anything worthwhile. May or may not go out for a light dinner with my sister later, I haven't really decided.

So yeah, after I said in yesterday's GC post, I think I'm doing this 'relax' thing just fine, haha.

I'm okay. It's really hot out. My sister's birthday present finally fucking came, a week after her birthday and almost 5 weeks after I ordered it. I hate it when a delivery range is something like "2 weeks to 1 month" AND no delivery tracking. :(

I'm trying to think of something good that's happened recently, and it's hard to, which sucks. My husband got let go from his job yesterday due to office politics, and that's...really all I can think about.

Um.

I saw a bear today! :D And when I woke up, there was a large pack of wild turkeys roaming through my yard, picking at what I can only assume were delicious things.

So so. I'm a painting major and have been in the studio all day. Its going pretty okay so that's cool. I dropped my ipod on the concrete floor though. Its still working but the screen is super cracked up now. :/

Not much for me! I'm in class right now and my attention is divided between paying attention, being online, talking to classmates and doing class work. Anything good that happened to me... I made some milk and rice and it was delicious.

Yes! I finally went to YGO locals today and got 4th out of 18 players :) feeling pretty good about that! and got to visit a friend I haven't seen in a while, too.
