I know this is late (stayed suuuper late at work last night) but if I may ask, Case, why was this frozen? It was an earnest political discussion that for the most part seemed really civil and didn't have any flaming or horrible wank in it. (Except I guess for that last subthread, but you could have just frozen that by itself?)

Is abortion just an untouchable topic in f!s now?

Just reply to note that I am keeping an eye on these! Deleting/freezing isn't really warranted unless wank actually happens from it or they keep spamming it everywhere though.

It's an idiom for "go away" (we have a lot of those) along the same lines as "go fly a kite" or "go climb a tree." It essentially means telling the person to go do something else that would keep them busy and not bothering the speaker.

If this were "go play in traffic" you might have a leg to stand on, but come on, you're reaching here.

I'm the OP of the abortion thread and I was hoping you could freeze it. The discussion has taken a turn I was hoping it would not and most of the points I was wondering about have been brought up and discussed. I don't see any good in keeping it open any longer. Thanks.

I find this disappointing. OP made a post and released it into the wild. Just because they're satisfied with the response, there are now other people involved who may mot be. And I for one was very interested in a comment that was put up pretty late. Would it be wrong to revive that portion on a new thread?

Sorry Casr got called into work. The pro-life guy who says his opinion is irrelevant. I'd like to hear more from the perspective of men who have no say but are affected and also hear ideas about the sort of care and help that should be available to pregnant mothers and young children.

Maybe something I could bring up tomorrow?
