Or, you know, resembling everyone else in her family - silver-to-white hair and purple-shaded eyes are their hallmarks.

They're essentially the Fair Folk. They're supposed to be unearthly.

It's a Targaryan hereditary gentic marker- *almost* all of that family were born with purple toned eyes and silver hair.

So I guess that means the *entire* family is made up of Mary Sues then. Although, I have never heard that a *specific purple eye color* was a Mary Sue trait, myself.
