I always thought that if we had to have some sort of restrictions on abortion, it should be something like that Texas law around the Roe v. Wade trial where 1st trimester abortion was fine, 2nd was iffy/really dependent on certain things (can't remember what exactly what the requirements for it were) and 3rd trimester was a no-go (I mean I get indecisiveness, but if you wait until the 3rd trimester to get an abortion, like, really?) (Also not sure if I made this law up or not, but I'm pretty sure it was a law somewhere in the US around that time). But I've always been pro-choice, so I guess take what I just said for what it's worth?

No this is the best solution to me. After the first trimester no abortions unless the mother's life is in danger.

Don't like abortions, don't have one. Otherwise, stay out of other people's bodies.
