Better to abort than to have a kid you don't want and can't raise, thereby either giving it a shit home life or dumping it with the hundreds of millions of parentless kids in shitty foster care systems.

I sound harsh, but I think people are too squeamish about it.

This x1000. As someone whose parents wanted an abortion (we were poor, my father had depression, and my mother was young and emotionally unstable in more than one regard) but ended up changing their minds, as a kid I daily regretted the fact that I'd been born. Better no life at all than the life many of such children lead.

This. I firmly believe that all children should be wanted, loved, and planned for.

My mother used to work in a school and the stories she had about the kids whose parents very obviously didn't love them or want them were just heartbreaking. No kid should have to go through that.

There are a lot of kids that have been unplanned for, but just as loved. I don't think that's a fair requirement.
