Lupe Fiasco generally has some great thought provoking stuff. He's pretty outspoken, but I get a genuine feeling that he really believes that rap is way too misogynistic and I really like that.
Some of Kid Cudi's stuff is good too, but after awhile he went right on trend with most other rappers and began rapping about just the really shallow stuff.
I haven't listened to a lot of Childish Gambino or Kendrick Lamar but of the songs I have heard, they're both pretty good.
And I'm sure you've listened to Macklemore? I hadn't listened to "The Heist" in awhile and I listened to it again last week, and it's a pretty good album all around, it's just "Thrift Shop" and "Same Love" got tiring because they were played so much last year.

I don't listen to a lot of rap, but I did get a bit more into it when I began watching the Rap Critic. He's really worth watching. He reviews and critiques rap music, and he's educated me a lot on rap music. His rapping is pretty good too.

Some of it is tongue in cheek, but Childish Gambino can be pretty disrespectful towards women in his lyrics.
