Eh, I don't see how having a crush on a celebrity is any different from having a crush on a real-life person from afar. Though I guess that doesn't help if you personally knew your other crushes.

My point is that it's just a crush. Not some serious life commitment. As long as it's not interfering with your ability to function in life, there's nothing wrong with getting a little giddy at the thought of someone else. Even if you don't personally know them.

Having a crush doesn't need to be a big deal! People have crushes all the time. (Maybe it isn't usual behavior for you, but at least it's no biggie? Nothing to worry about.)

They come and go, and even if they don't go and you always feel a little bit of excitement or a flutter of affection when you see the person, that isn't such a terrible thing.
