I kinda agree?

Diana should have told Iain when she took his Baked Alaska out of the freezer (which imo she was in her right to do because he was not assigned to that freezer).

But if Iain hadn't binned it, the judges still could have tasted SOMETHING and he might not have gone home.

Chetna's wasn't looking much better, but she at least presented it, so I'd say you're right that he sealed his own fate.

But the extent to which the media took it, you can really tell silly season took its toll.
