That is an amusing unified theory, not unlike the idea I had a few years ago that the Alien/Predator franchises shared a universe with Avatar (the blue cat people movie, not the cartoon) and Blade Runner. Could you elaborate?

Mainly the gritty feel and morally complex characters each series has makes it more believable for me that they could take place in the same universe. It's also enough where certain characters that stand out can come across as past relatives of other characters, but not resemble anything too closely where it loses the sense of fantasy. That and they all take place in relatively close timelines, but still far apart enough to not clash too much with each other. Also someone said it before me, but I sort of had this headcanon that the blue crystal meth is what started the zombie apocalypse, though I'm also satisfied with the crossover headcanon that Gray Matter Technologies has a big screw up and the reason the apocalypse happened was because Walter wasn't around to help them fix it before it was too late.
