I don't really want him to forget, perse. Just go back to just accepting that his Companions leave/die/move on and continue traveling the way he used to. That would make me a lot happier.

But, as a friend keeps pointing out, Rose appears to be RTD's Mary Sue and he seems to think he can get the Doctor to bang him by proxy.

I don't really care about the obvious Sue-ing that she went through, but the deification that she's recieved since the end of s2 borders on insanity.

That and she was replaced by the best companion since Sarah Jane.

Well, the deification ties into the Mary-Suing. She's no longer Rose, the shop girl who wears too much make-up but can punch things and is a little sappy about aliens, she's SAINT Rose, who always knew what to say, and could do everything, and was absolutely perfect in every bloody way. It's so... ARGH.

Heh. Martha was full of ROCK. I think she and Romana and Ace and Liz and, like, everyone need to get together and have a big party and not invite the Doc.

My life would be so much more interesting if I was. Ace would be the best companion for this Doctor. She wouldn't take any of his shit and then she'd blow stuff up and it would be brilliant.
