22. I played the entire Xenosaga series and loved it just for the plot, because it KICKED ASS. It's one of my favorite game story lines ever, and I love all the characters. The gameplay, though... meh.

27. ...And yet, all the FF guys are variations of the same old stereotypes, too, but no one ever calls them out on it. Huh. Also, secret OP: I seriously doubt you're alone with that, considering all the hate the FF girls seem to get on a fairly regular basis.

Where have you been? I've seen more Squall (emo whiner), Cloud (emo whiner, also no personality if it weren't for Zack), Zidane (too perky and happy-go-lucky), Sora (same as Zidane), and Vaan (whining idiot) hate than I can remember. Some of it in this comm, even! And that's just the main characters; the others get it just as badly, if not worse.

At least they get a variety of strengths and weaknesses. For the female characters it's very often the same for all of them.

(Though unlike the OP, I actually like most female FF characters very much (some I even love). It doesn't stop me from wanting a bit of character diversity.)
