39. Dude. You sound exactly like me and my friend. We love mpreg because of the exact same reasons you mentioned and plan out stories and stuff with mpreg and our current fandom interests, (but very privately since the general feeling towards mpreg is a bad one, of course) and like you mentioned, it's not something we want people seeing as part of our identity or anything.

BUT MAN, your being interested in the mental anguish and fear rather than the "OMG YAY BABIES?" EXACTLY US. And one of our biggest pet peeves is how people who aren't into mpreg make the "lol yaoi fangirls just want GUYS WITH BABIES" assumption and judge the kink on that basis. I mean, yeah, mpreg is weird, but those of us who like it aren't all braindead yaoitards. :\

I'm going to have to agree on this. I was actually intending to respond myself, with a very similar statement.

I feel like the only person in this whole community that can admit to liking the more serious aspects of mpreg. Of course, I only like it in situations where it's remotely pausible for a guy to wind up with a womb, somehow.. and still, I have to ignore a lot of the horrible inconsistancies and impossibilities-

as much as I generally hate mpreg, because it's usually written so poorly, my favorite fic is an mpreg right now because of how serious almost realistic the story was taken.

It's FMA, and RoyxEd - so if you're familiar with that fandom at all, you might already know about it.
