I agree it can get obnoxious. But I have to admit I feel like it would've died down a bit by now if not for other fandoms bringing it up? Recently it feels like I've seen more people commenting on posts with "waits for the supernatural gif" or "where's spn fandom when you need them", etc.

(Granted, I don't think it would've died down a LOT, but maybe a little.)

I have a feeling a lot of those are Supernatural fans, just the ones who don't GIF/can't find what they're looking for.
