Tim Tams are Australian, though. If you want quintessentially English, you'll need to go for a rich tea biscuit, digestives, jammy dodgers, jaffa cakes or something like that.

Yeah, I've never heard of TimTams. OP needs some chocolate digestives to dunk in their tea, stat.

lol Well I just assumed since they're stuck into the import foods section next to the Rich Tea, Ginger Nuts, etc. But then the Polish stuff is right next to that so...

that's funny. At my store the import section is Asian, Mexican, Indian, Mediterranean and Kosher (these last three are kind of mushed together). I wish I had a British/Australian/Polish section.

As far as I can tell that part of the import section is more "EUROPE ETC." than anything else. It also contains Norwegian and Hungarian stuff as well as some Swedish, Scottish, and Irish stuff. A little further down, Indian and Mexican stuff is smushed together.

And then beyond that they have two full aisles of "ASIAN ETC" where there's about an entire aisle of Chinese stuff as well as Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, Filipino, and Vietnamese products.

My supermarket is Chinese owned, so yes. It's probably about 60% directly imported products.
