Ah, what a shame. I love Tim Tams, though they are on the sweet side. For commercially available cookies, I'd have to go with Thin Mints (or their cheaper Keebler grasshopper cousins), those Keebler elf sandwich cookies (oh god help me I've eaten them all) and Dare coconut sandwich cookies. Oh! McVities chocolate and caramel biscuits, chocolate hob nobs, Fox's ginger lemon cream cookies...

For homemade, chocolate chip, or... okay, anything chocolate.

They're getting to be surprisingly common. I've seen them at Trader Joe's and Costco, and just did a quick google and they're on the Wal Mart website, so...wow. Didn't even think to look at WM.
