What even is an anti-SJW, these days?

[personal profile] nyxelestia 2014-09-09 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I ask because I tend to consider myself one...on the basis that I feel like SJWs have done more harm than good for social justice. Hell, I get called an SJW by some of my friends, but I still see myself as having to stand in opposition to both SJWs and actual bigots.

There is a LOT of grey area between SJW and Bigot, and I think I fall in the middle. Leaning towards SJW, but still not really in either camp.

Anti-SJW is just what it says on the tin. They exist to argue.

Sure there are awesome activists on both sides but they get lost in the wreck of arguments. OR. Needing to lable themselves at all. You HAVE to belong to a camp.

To be honest ... it's not SJWs or anti-SJWs which caused the harm - it's them throwing stuff at each other. The thing is that both groups latch to issues that are marketed and present in the media at the moment (not saying that they're not important, they are - but it's a case of visibleness) thus making everyone tired of their battles.
