If you do it for a "good" reason then pretty soon you'll be doing it for bad ones. Now you've got something you can say that when the next incident comes up "well, its almost as bad as that. And then the next is almost as bad as the one that is almost as bad as the first, after a few more almost, you're at the point where you can doxx for anything unsettling. That is why we defend those bastards who are doing obnoxious things, because they are sitting on top of the slippery slope that everyone else skis down. And every sodding time, people start off with "but this is different, this won't lead to the slippery sloooooooooooooooopppppe as they doppler past on the way down.
