What are you looking forward (movie/book/videogame/event) to in the near or far future? What are you not looking forward to?

I am looking forward to several movies. Avengers:AOU of course. And the final Hobbit movie should be fun (my sister has never read the book and has no idea what is going to happen ಠ⌣ಠ).

In the VERY far future, I am looking forward to my (hopefully) awesome trip to NYC. I got two years to plan for the damn thing. :P

I was looking forward to The Giver movie before I saw how terrible it is going to be. I am not looking forward to winter. We got a lot of rain this summer and I fear it will carry over to a lot of ice/snow once it gets cold.

I'm looking forward to Korean Fingersmith and October.

And I'm not looking forward to...I don't know...the end of net neutrality?

Shit, it's directed by Park Chan Wook. I hope he uses Choi Min-Sik because she was wonderful in Lady Vengeance.

I'm still excited for AoU, but if the leaks and rumors are true about what the major plot device of the movie is...eugh; I'll still probably enjoy it, but man, Whedon would need to pull it off really well for it to be not completely idiotic and contrived.

More curious than anything else about Everquest: Next, or whatever the new Everquest is, though I've heard nothing about it and haven't played an Everquest game before.

There is a Fantasy tv show that got green lit a few months ago which is an adaptation about one of my favorite Fantasy series (which I rec'd here a while back, sorta) and I'm praying that it a) isn't seen as a GoT knockoff/cash-in (which the books aren't (they're written way before GRRM)) and b) is actually good (luckily they went with the sequel to the first written book, which was/is basically LotR in 700 odd pages)

Dragon Age: Inquisition and whenever the Mac version will be released, if it will be. I'm also looking forward to season 2 of

Penny Dreadful because some relationship dynamics are going to change and I can't WAIT.

Song of the Sea had its premiere a few days ago so I'm hoping it'll be available soon. Edit: Also, the last Hobbit Movie.

Kind of anticipating and kind of dreading Mockingjay. On the down side, cliffhanger and tge book made me feel all ookie. Up side, all the movies have been better than the books so it may eliminate much of my ick feelings.

I'm looking forward to the new NCIS spinoff because Scott Bakula, Sleepy Hollow because super cute characters, and Box Trolls cause it looks really cute! Also one of my most antivipated WiPs mught get updated so woot on that.

I am getting ridiculously excited about The Hobbit and Ice Hockey World Championships in the spring and winter sports in general.
However most important is that my niece/nephew is going to be born in the first half of the october and whole family is practically buzzing with anticipation. Plus, everyone is stoking booze. I can't wait.

I'm looking forward to OCTOBERRRRRR. Come to me, best month! I'm also looking forward to AOU and the final Hobbit movie. Looking forward to The Walking Dead gracing my tv again but also...kind of dreading it. ;3; Also looking forward to the creators implementing the werewolf role in Town of Salem. \o/!

I'm super excited for The Hobbit and its merch (specifically the Legos coming out in October). I have vacation next week that I'm excited for. I'm also excited for Korra now. I'm not ready for new TV seasons though. I feel like there wasn't nearly enough summer...

I'm excited that Way of the Samurai 4's coming to PC! I tend to really enjoy video games that embrace their own batshittiness.

Far, far farther out is Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Yay medieval times without magic or dragons!

Persona Q and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, oh god oh god oh god oh god.

I wish I could look forward to the last Hobbit movie, but DoS disappointed me so much that I daren't get my hopes up again. :/

The last book from the Heroes of Olympus series: The Blood of Olympus. I JUST CANNOT WAIT!! For these past few years I haven't been reading as much as I used to but every time Rick Riordan releases a book, especially his Olympus series, I drop everything and speed read through his books.

Other than that, I can't think of anything that I'm super stoked about. Like I do want to see The Hobbit, Into the Woods, and a few other films but nothing like where I'm thinking, "I just can't wait!"
