I'm still excited for AoU, but if the leaks and rumors are true about what the major plot device of the movie is...eugh; I'll still probably enjoy it, but man, Whedon would need to pull it off really well for it to be not completely idiotic and contrived.

More curious than anything else about Everquest: Next, or whatever the new Everquest is, though I've heard nothing about it and haven't played an Everquest game before.

There is a Fantasy tv show that got green lit a few months ago which is an adaptation about one of my favorite Fantasy series (which I rec'd here a while back, sorta) and I'm praying that it a) isn't seen as a GoT knockoff/cash-in (which the books aren't (they're written way before GRRM)) and b) is actually good (luckily they went with the sequel to the first written book, which was/is basically LotR in 700 odd pages)

Hbsbdbsbdhbh. I have not seen any spoilers or leaks or rumors. I got AOU blocked like nobody's business. I don't even know if I am going to watch the trailers!

Also, I feel remarkably stupid. I read Everquest: Next and was like, "They are making a game about a mountain?? And it is the second one????" Then I googled it.

Do you know what network the show will be on?
