Immediately fold and go, yes, of course you're right, he's not, I won't read him as trans anymore? Like, the only situation where "aggressively defending" lgbt headcaonons even comes up is when people come to you and tell you that they're impossible and you're delusional. The secret even provides a good example itself. People being shitty about trans headcanons happens all the time, I have never actually seen someone get attacked for not sharing a headcanon. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's not a widespread fandom problem. What I do see happen is people arguing against the idea that a character can't be gay or trans because of historical accuracy or whatever, and there is nothing wrong with that.
All of your "I dont mind lgbt headcanons until they get pushy" bullshit is just that.
