Ivy Pepper.

Seriously, who the hell thought that name change would be a good idea? They could have "Edward Nigma" but not "Pamela Isley"? Wtf? Was it ever explained why they decided to go with a name that is even more punny than the original?

That aside, I agree with you. I'll check out the first episode, but I don't have high hopes, honestly. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong!

That bugged me too. They kept everyone else's name, why change Ivy's?

Re: Ivy Pepper. Maybe copyright issues? Could it be? It bugs and confuses me, too. *scratches head*

That's actually an interesting thought. I know they called her Pamela Isley on B:TAS, but I don't know about the comic.

In any case even if they had to change her name, Ivy Pepper is ridiculous (unless it's another alias, in which case it's kind of funny in a stupid way).

It's even more ridiculous because "Ivy Pepper" is also the name of a character in the Lackadaisy webcomic (who also shows up a lot when you just google the name).

I think the writers implied she's going to be adopted and her parents change her name to Pamela Isley

I also thought that this was supposed to be a "before they were villains" thing so I was surprised to see Edward Nigma instead of Edward Nashton...
