Ugh. This is a bit beyond the line of creepy.

You're right, it's fully none of your business. But then, I guess I should expect anything less from Hetalia fandom.

This.

...How is it creepy to wonder about a falling-out between friends? I'll admit I'm not familiar with the people or situation at hand, but people seem to speculate about kind of thing plenty in fandom, so I don't know why you're specifying "ugh hetalia fandom".

It's a long story. And it's not between "friends" its a fandom relationship.

Specifically, the people in question left the Hetalia fandom for reasons that included people getting overly-invested in them ...to a point where it approached stalking for one of the women involved.

They also happened to be friends of mine at the time (unrelated, I was never a Hetalia fan) so I'm aware of how much trauma was actually involved with the situation that's being referenced. It's not up for discussion, because it's not something they are comfortable sharing to people who are just fans of their writing.

Wow, now I feel kind of bad for googling them. :(

That is disturbing. I doubt OP's intent was stalkerish though. I've had groups in fandom whose relationship I admired, and it is terrible to see them fall apart.

If they were BNFs in the fandom, it's kind of like obsessing over celebrities down to the last detail of their lives. Which is creepy. Celeb or no, these are real people. It's one thing to wonder, it's another to be obsessing about it years down the road, especially if you don't personally know the people.

Of course, I also have no idea how much or how little OP interacted with the folks in the secret either. I don't know if they were friends at one time and lost contact, or if it's just been an "admiring BNF from afar" kind of thing.

For the record, I've interacted with one of the people in another fandom, but I've not been interested in any potential drama that may or may not have happened in their lives. I don't even know how they would feel about being talked about in a secret, one way or the other.

I don't think it's creepy, I have no idea who they are, and don't really even know what Hetalia is either. But I can relate to wondering what happened to people you've follows and interacted with online.

They set themselves up with a user name, and create a persona, it's fair enough that it leaves people curious if they disappear.

OP isn't curious about the BNFs disappearing, though. OP is curious about some personal incident that may have or may have not occurred between the three.
