...Or you're just wrong, and they were never meant to be Harry, Hermione and Draco.

Just a thought.

(Anonymous) 2014-09-17 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Dunno. Roman = Draco and Peter = Harry fits pretty neatly, IMO. A few tweaks and that storyline could read like a Harry Potter AU.

no.

This show is weird. I find myself liking all the adult female characters, especially Linda and Destiny. But the teenaged ones are so freaking annoying I can barely stand to hear them talk. Miranda might be the worst.

Man, I love Linda and Destiny. They are easily my favorite part of the show (especially Destiny). They need more screen time.

DA

MORE DESTINY. DESTINY IS THE BEST!

(Anonymous) 2014-09-18 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Destiny all the time, every time.

At first I thought that pic was Sam and Dean Winchester in bed with someone. I was all like huh they finally went there. Kinda.
Vaguely disappointed.

I fully thought that was a dig at Twilight.

(Anonymous) 2014-09-18 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
You know, I have to defend Miranda by saying that I'm pretty sure spontaneous lactation would freak even Hermione out. I'm willing to bet her first action would be to go to Madam Pomfrey, not the library. Same when Miranda started lactating blood. I'm thinking that would freak anybody out so they went to the doctor first. It's not a sign of stupidity that she didn't "research" it.

Hermione at least had a warning of "strange shit probably happens here" when an owl delivered a letter that said she'd been accepted at a school for witchcraft and wizardry. Miranda got in a car accident and went to the nearest house to call a tow truck. Not exactly a warning of "weird stuff is about to happen".

(Anonymous) 2014-09-18 03:03 am (UTC)(link)
In a day and age where people have cellphones surgically attached to their hands, how do you NOT Google it right away (which is faster than making a doctor's appointment and then driving to his office) and find out within two minutes that oh, okay, it's a little weird but it is a thing that sometimes happens.

"Miranda got in a car accident and went to the nearest house to call a tow truck. Not exactly a warning of "weird stuff is about to happen"."

Uh... a bizarre modern mansion owned by an 18 year old who has two weird, secretive servants guarding a secret baby in a hidden sound-proofed room with an electronic key code entry. That's not weird?

(Anonymous) 2014-09-18 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
but causing her to spontaneously lactate in his presence and then find a baby weird? there's weird and then there is WTF weird.

This secret comes across like, "I think they're meant to be Harry, Hermione, and Ron, except they're actually nothing at all like those characters."

Like, just because you have two dudes and a gal doesn't mean that they're H/Hr/R.

SA

LOL at myself, I substituted "Ron" for "Draco." Somehow my brain turned the latter into the former.

Ooooooh shitballs. Everyone should spork the fuck out of me.

Naw. You're too precious.

Their poses are almost exactly like a Xena/Ares/Gabrielle bed scene in s5 of Xena: Warrior Princess, Old Ares Had a Farm. Except inverse because it's two guys and one girl. Maybe someone can help with a screencap? It's beyond my ken at the moment.

Maybe that's who they're meant to resemble? If they're meant to resemble anyone at all, that is.

My god, all these years later and I finally realize how random and pointless that episode was. But still so funny.

ayrt

Thank you!

S5, and for that matter s6, had a lot of 'filler' eps. But damn, three attractive people in their undies for half an episode? Sign me up.

I love how tv women sleep in their bras.

...I sleep in my bra. Wait, am I Truman?!

(Anonymous) 2014-09-18 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
nayrt, but I have been known to sleep in my sports bra. I've never slept in one of those satin underwired bras that TV stars seem to favour.

Remind me. Why were these women wearing bras? They were in ancient Greece, right? Was this an AU episode or something?

(I know Gabrielle favoured those cute little short tops, but these are definitely BRAS, dammit. (Especially Xena's.))

I hate Hemlock Grove but now I want to finish it because I want to see this.

I just like the werewolf guy and the exquisitely nightmarish wolf transformation. Everything else about that show gives me rage (and not in an SJW way. I wish there were no non-white or queer characters here because that would spare us the shame.)
