My LFR run of Gates was a bust. :C

I got no gear aside from some gloves I already have. the rest was gold, even when I did my extra roll.

We wiped on the Scorpion and then we wiped on teh freakin' trash demolishers before Nazgrim.

World of Warcraft. We got through the raid, finally, but it was a mess and I got jack shit. :C

I'm trying to get my valor and gear up and to get through the Legendary quest line before they take it out of the game come 6.0, which fucking sucks...that quest should NOT be getting taken out until after launch of the new expac.

My time is running out, cause valor points has a max each week and I've already hit it and that's ONLY part of chapter 2....

Not to mention the best gear will be taken out of Siege of Orgrimmar when the next patch hits. URG, I'm so new to this content and at the tail end up it and it SUCKS BALLS.

As long as you're ON the legendary quest, you'll be able to finish it! See here (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/15910699/legendary-cloak-quest-last-chance-black-prince-buff-extended-9-16-2014). You have until Warlords launches to finish it, and the Test of Valor step (collect 3k valor) will be gone with 6.0 and automatically advance you to the next step. Worry more about the repgrind and the PVP crap.

If I was subbed, I'd offer to tank LFR for you (if you're Alliance, or DPS if you're Horde), but I'm also in my last semester of college and working on a huge project. It'll be over before Warlords, but until then I can't justify paying for something I don't have time to play. :(

I'm on the valor step now which I'd RATHER be using the points for upgrades, but....and since I dunno when 6.0 will be implemented, I can't use them yet...cause I might be able to finish that part before then, and then quickly upgrade pieces as soon as possible.

I'll have at least one character who can sport the cloak...my poor Warlock will not be there in time for it.

You can use the valor you're earning! Go ahead and upgrade your stuff. The quest only wants you to earn the valor, not have the valor. It'll take you three weeks if you cap every week, and you can absolutely use it while you're working on that step.

Estimates are that 6.0 should be around mid-October - halfway between when the PTR came out and when Warlords actually launches. Nothing's official yet, but it seems like a reasonable estimate. They pushed a new PTR build last night, so clearly it's not finished yet.

At least when 6.0.2 hits you can turn all your Lesser Charms into Warforged Seals if you want, since they're removing the cap and weekly limit on seals. I'd expect LFR to get slightly less stupid at that point, though after a year, most people have what they want from Siege.

And the demos before Nazgrim can be nasty, and easily knock out all the healers really fast. My raid group found that even on normal, a DPS can "tank" the demos well enough, since they don't melee very hard. At least, not in comparison to their ranged fireball damage, which can one-shot most of my raid. You don't even have to hit it, just run in and stand next to it, and it'll prefer to melee you instead of chuck fireballs at the ranged.

On the plus side, at least Dark Shamans went okay, it sounds like? :)

Oh yes, they did. And I realized the melee thing after we wiped twice. -_- Only way I stayed alive after that.

Now, if only Huolon would drop the freakin' mount....
