That took place back in 2012, before he was cast in GOTG. Maybe he's rethought that after filming with a talking Racoon.

Thanks for the Context. I knew it had something to do with hunting, but not exactly beyond that.

You do realize Rocket wasn't a REAL talking raccoon, right?

I understand they dubbed Bradley Cooper's voice in, but that was obviously still an amazing racoon, even if it couldn't speak english.

Eh, I mean, I don't hunt or like the idea of hunting, but I eat meat so I'm not going to get all up in arms about it. As long as he's doing everything legally, and he sounds respectful then it's fine.

I'll be totally honest, I would RATHER all meat I eat came from hunting than from factories. :|

(I eat fish and just recently started eating a little bit of chicken. I'm not against eating meat. But I hate the way we grow/raise it. Hunting, when it involves killing something as quickly as possible, is so much more humane than meat farming...)

I don't doubt that in a lot of cases hunting is probably more humane and that makes me sad, so I don't blame people for hunting, but... I don't want to kill anything (basically I don't think my stomach could handle it, and I would chicken out), and even if people think that makes me a hypocrite for still eating meat... That's just how it is.

It doesn't make you a hypocrite so long as you are okay with SOMEONE killing the animal. I used to hunt with my stepdad and I've killed, skinned, and gutted plenty of animals. Now that I'm older? Don't really have the stomach for it. That's why I like grocery stores - someone else kills it and I eat it.

So really, unless you are angry that people out there are killing the animals you are paying to eat - you're fine.

oh I don't think that makes you a hypocrite. I wouldn't be able to kill anything either! (I would make the shittiest hunter ever haha.) I don't think everyone is cut out for that kind of job.

I do, however, think it's important to know where your food comes from, and I'd *support* hunting over factory farming any day of the week.
