There's a few subreddits for that too, where they give you genuine advice on how to improve yourself, but I forget the name.

Freezing the thread doesn't mean it's a safe place. OP still would have seen that and read it and the fact that it's a chance they have to take (and hope Case is on the case) kind of proves that's it's not a safe place.

You make this F!S sound like a pit of slavering trolls, it isn't. OP, you should post a picture and we'll be fine and provide you with the feedback you seek. Just ignore the poster above who is clearly trying to start some sort of drama.

You're trying waaaay too hard to get someone to post a photo of themselves online for this to be genuine, anon. It shows, and obviously.

If you really wanted to help them so badly, you could direct them to other places meant for that sort of thing.

You tried, but you should have said something like "post if you feel comfortable, OP" or "you don't have to if you don't want to" in order to actually demonstrate that a place feels safe.

Pressuring someone to post a picture because come hell or high water we will get that picture of you! and accusing anyone telling you to quit it of trying to start drama sends huge "not safe" signals.

Nope. I've used the icon of myself before and gotten JUST THAT exact comment when I wasn't even looking for that kind of advice at all.

Well it's really petty, that's the real problem. I guess by me saying 'yes you're fat' is my own criticism. But silly things like are my calves really huge for my body or how can I really tell if my thighs are muscular vs. fat and wobbly? How do I look from the front compared to the side?

Petty stuff. Stuff you don't want to hear what people have to think but you want to know anyway?

Yeah. I think I'm going to post this and just step away from the internet now. I think I got myself into more trouble than I need!

This is making me so sad. I keep clicking on links where people are all "super ugly, be honest" and describing they're ugly mugs, then I click on the pic and they're all cuties! Like seriously, I've been going through a bunch and not one single person is ugly or even unattractive. They may not be my style, bu they're all good looking young people and it's incredibly sad how many of them just can't see it.

Same. I'm genuinely shocked. All these people are attractive/average looking. And interesting how the majority of posters are men.

I almost want to post my pic now too. I've always thought I was unattractive (bigger nose, thick eyebrows for instance) and I'm really curious what others would think.

I'm way too shy though, ahah.

Right? "16 and never had a bf do I need plastic surgery?" Like 16 is SO OLD to never have dated. Or the 20 and a virgin ones...or any of them really. It's just a sad state.

I'm gonna disagree with this. If you're expecting comments about your actual features but are noticeably overweight, you will get comments along the lines of "you have potential to be attractive if you lost weight" or "lose the weight as of now would not bang." Meaner comments are usually deleted, but it's still not very helpful when everyone seems to comment only on the weight aspect.
