TMI ahead:

I don't shave my pubes, I mostly prefer to trim them, partly because even whenever I shave my upper thighs I break out in horrible itchiness (and a few days later, I get red spots which itch more). Thing is, even when I just trim my pubes I get insanely itchy down there and it's just awful and awkward.

Any ideas on what to do/how to avoid this? I like keeping my pubes trimmed, but as of now I can only bear to go through with it once a month at most.

This is why I stopped shaving. I guess it's nice to know that at least someone else shares my pain!

Not a cure-all remedy, but I find (nightly) putting hair conditioner in the area and letting it sit for a bit before rinsing greatly reduces the itchy feeling of your pubes if you've trimmed or shaved the area.

this is why I don't shave my pubes or thighs anymore. (The hair on my thighs barely shows anyway. And I rarely go swimming but when I do I just put shorts on over my suit)

I hope you find a solution that works, though. Sorry I don't have much to add. I do think hydrocortizone helps a lot of people, so seconding that, I guess.

You probably just have very unlucky hair genes. The direction of hair growth and coarseness of your hair has a lot to do with how likely you are to get irritated by shaving or trimming.

If that's the case there isn't much you can do to avoid it beyond trying a leave-in conditioner before trimming to attempt to soften the hair beforehand.

Have the exact same problem.
Two solutions I use:
After you trim, wash them with conditioner (being of course careful not to get that stuff where you don't want it - stinging's a BITCH); the same stuff that'll soften'n'gloss the stuff on your head will work on the stuff downstairs.
Second, if you'd rather get rid of it, find a epilating cream; this may take a while. you need one not only designed for use near your genitals but one that your skin is fine with and does not react to - omg, never ever ever skip the allergy test patch. EVER. And then it's a question of keeping the de-haired area happy; most brands will also have a cream for that (and again, omg, never skip the allergy test patch. ever.), too. I find hair removed that way comes back with FAR less itching/bumping/other nastiness than any other method.

how douchey is it to do a give away for reaching a follower milestone? i am going to reach one soon and since I enjoy buying gifts, I was going to do a give away for something. But I dont know if that is just a douchey "LOOK AT ALL THESE FOLLOWERS I HAVE!" thing.

If you're talking tumblr, it's pretty common and generally seen as normal non-douchey behavior. Plus, giveaways! Who doesn't like free stuff?

So I'm starting to do things to have fun with my appearance, with my hair and makeup and stuff. I'm finally enjoying how I look for once. Like wearing lip gloss when I'm out gives me a confidence boost.

I almost want to put more selfies up on my tumblr when I like how I look....but I don't want to seem arrogant. What would you suggest?

(also do you know any useful sites for applying makeup well and stuff and maybe for doing cool things with it? That would be very appreciated. Thank you)

I'm trying to learn how to knit. I got a Beginners Kit but apparently they define beginner different from me. How can i learn how to do more than basics and read patterns? I can't make heads or tails of drawings/descriptions so i looked up some videos but they were the very basics.

I hate this guy that I work with. He hangs out around my cubicle on break and I just want to tell him, "Listen, I don't like you and I don't think you like me, so why don't you give me some space?" but there's no way to say that without being, you know, a dick. How do you guys deal with annoying coworkers?
